This is a slightly modified (taken out the date of release and details of album) poster I made for a band called Scratchwork Enigma's album "Perspectives".
I was asked to do a quite vibrant poster with a slight retro feel to it, and I pretty much ended up with this. I could probably write loads and loads about my train of thought, but i feel this piece should show the idea quite clearly- Mixed proportion and perspectives of objects.
well yeh, spose thats it... maybe not lol. The man is supposed to be vectorred in that way with the empty face with just dark shading.
Enjoy- Comments and Criticisms are encouraged, and Favs are a necessity .
Edit- tried something new with the text- i didn't use Times New Roman or century gothic, as although they're fantastic fonts they didn't really add anything to the piece- they'd just give it a name. It's nothign fancy, but i really think the new text adds a bit more of a retro feel, and the white on it also lets the new colour for the side-border seem less solitary- thanks Chop/1NNUEND0 for pointing out my mistake with that border, you're the only one that caught it!
Loving it mate, the colors and the shading are perfect. And I just have to say these two things, when I glanced at the head area I coulda swore it was hitler and the other being his tie looks like it could kill someone
heh... awesome work ozza
IMO the little flowering stuf and the trees are great
great background aswell
onlything I dont like is the text work at the top... I guess I could understand tho, if it is the band's little slogan/whatver
good good the flaw isn't my fault lol... well actually it is but shhh...
the text at the top is they're new logotext and i had to put it on, but i made it in the first place so my bad. It was bizarre though as they're album cover is like that sorta style with text and photoshopy stuff, but they asked for a vibrant poster... it's got me baffled for when i do the cover lol.

strangely suitable in a contrasting sort of way-the figure looks amusingly contemplative of his happy flowery surroundings lol
